The Department of Creative Technologies works closely with the University of Portsmouth's Centre for Enterprise. Students on our courses are actively encouraged to be entrepreneurial and to project manage their time and work. We work with the Centre for Enterprise to deliver 'Enterprise' degrees in games and entertainment technology (look at under 'Enterprise' in the undergraduate courses section of this site).
The areas covered by the Department of Creative Technologies are fast moving so we work closely with industry to ensure that are courses are relevant and up to date. There are links to some of the companies with liaise with in the 'Links' section of this site.
We encourage students to be proactive and set up companies while they are studying. There are links to some of the companies started by our students in the 'Entrepreneurship' section of the 'Showcase' area on this site. These companies were supported by the university and the Centre for Enterprise.
